The Network for Independence offers a unique approach to supported employment services.
We work with all individuals seeking employment who need additional support to find and maintain a job in their community.
Through personalized support services, we assist individuals with overcoming obstacles to employment. We also work directly with employers in the community to hire individuals from targeted groups. Ongoing support and training are offered to both the job seeker and the
FOR THE JOB SEEKER
- Vocational skills training and Pre-Employment Services.
- Job Search and Application Process Support.
- On the Job training and Maintenance Services.
- Professional Development and Career Planning Services.
FOR THE EMPLOYER
- Access to work opportunity Tax Credit
- Training for Employers and Employees on the job site.
- Job Development and Work productivity services.
- Work accomodations and environmental Modifications.
COMMUNITY ACCESS SERVICES
FOR INDIVIDUALS
Instruction outings to assist with:
- Accessing and navigating the community
- Shopping and Money Management
- Connections to Community Groups and Volunteerism
- Using Public Transportation
- Improving Social Behavior

Our Network Group Outings have been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns:
We hope to Fellowship again in the community with our NETWORK families, clients, partners, and volunteers in the Spring of 2025.
RESOURCE CONNECTION
The Network for Independence offers an assessment to families in needs, individuals seeking services and early intervention screenings at no cost to the person seeking support.
After conducting a Needs Assessment, families and individuals are provided a resource list of services and programs in their community that directly meet their identified needs. Additional support is available to help individuals access and connect to these services including transportation, assistance with documentation and short-term case management.
