THE 813 PROJECT

813 Project

The 813 project mission is to provide short term assistance to families in transition. These families may need temporary assistance until they are connected to community resources. This fund helps those families while they are transitioning into social services and other support programs.

Support Families

We seek to support families in need, specifically those families with children with special needs, families with disabled parents or seniors in the home, and families with adoptive children.

The mentorship program

Beyond the 1st

The mentorship program that creates new opportunities for young people striving to make a difference. Through program support and matched mentoring, we help youth explore their passions and enter new fields, develop their talents and master skills, and advance to the top of their chosen profession.

Funding is used to support our mentees in their training and related coursework, it covers fees and cost to participate and assist them with getting scholarships and preparation for secondary education.

THE DCRC PROJECT

DCRC

The DEKALB community rehabilitation coalition

The DCRC strives to build better communities through collaborative projects, strategic partnerships, community- based programs, and commercial development in and around Dekalb County Georgia.

DCRC GOALS:

  • Develop blight commercial properties into Community resource centers and local multi-use facilities.

  • Partner with local businesses and non-profits to build a network of community-oriented leaders and service providers.
